A beautifully brushed stainless steel bollard for mounting PDK Touch IO card reader and Comelit 3ONE6 devices side-by-side (shown with Comelit EZ-316MUG.) Designed for decorative entryways, glass lobbies, and Class A spaces this item is particularly attractive to premium clients, high-end applications, and wherever aesthetics are paramount. An architectural showpiece: the top is flat and the rounded corners are mirror-polished with each flat surface polished uniformly with a 180 grit #4 finish. This pedestal comes with an alcove for the Comelit device and a hole pattern for the PDK Touch IO reader for fast assembly and installation. Different/more hole patterns/cutouts are available for a small charge. Unlike any of its competing rivals, no fasteners can be seen after installation-- this pedestal is mounted from the inside out using an access panel on the backside. Whereas a competing bollard will begin to wobble shortly after the initial installation (using a light weight 2-piece anchor-bollard design), this pedestal will hold steady regardless of the use and abuse because of its one-piece design and its heavy duty .25" thick base plate that is secured against the floor. This stainless bollard has passed our facewind testing protocol which determined it can survive sustained Category 5 hurricane force winds of 157 mph.
